Our expertise is further complemented and augmented by partnerships with leading research centres, experienced industry advisors, and other industry partners.

RAJIV PANCHOLY | Chairman & CEO

Rajiv has amassed nearly three decades of experience in the telecommunications world. His background embraces all facets of the industry,  from the design and commercialization of network equipment to the management of a telecom service provider.

Before coming to TenXc, Rajiv was the President and CEO of Mitec Telecom Inc., a  designer and manufacturer of wireless network products, where he successfully spearheaded key growth initiatives and a business turnaround.

His previous assignments include President and Chief Operating Officer of Microcell Connexions Inc., where Rajiv presided over Microcell becoming the first Canadian carrier to nationally launch commercial high speed wireless data services. Prior to joining Microcell, Rajiv held a number of senior management positions with Nortel Networks.

Recently, Rajiv was engaged as an Advisor to the Telecom Policy Review Panel launched by Industry Canada to make recommendations on Canadian Telecom Policy for the next decade. He has also been extensively involved in mentoring many start up companies in Canada and the U.S.

Rajiv holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering from McGill University and a Masters of Science in Applied Physics and Electronics from the Indian Institute of Technology.

MARK COSGROVE | Chief Technology Officer

Mark has been in been in the wireless industry for over 30 years. He served on the original specification groups writing the GSM standard and led the initial introduction of GSM into the UK. Mark also built and managed cellular networks in Europe, Asia and America before becoming Director of RF Engineering for T-Mobile in the USA. Mark joined TenXc Wireless in 2006, initially introducing the Bi-Sector Array product in to the USA before moving to India to launch TenXc Wireless India. Mark holds an Bachelor of Honours Telecommunication degree from the University of Essex, UK.

JEAN MARC ROBERGE | Executive Vice President

Jean Marc has over 25 years of international manufacturing and supply chain management experience in the telecom industry. Prior to joining TenXc, he was responsible for Operations, Supply Chain and Product Development at Mitec Telecom in Montreal.

Prior to that assignment,  Jean Marc also held a senior position with a global contract manufacturer. Before that Jean Marc spent over 20 years at Nortel Networks in a variety of senior manufacturing, engineering, and quality roles and was responsible for products ranging from high-capacity optical products to outside plant equipment.

Jean Marc has led several supply chain optimization projects implementing global supply strategies and is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Concordia University.

K. K. RAMAN | Managing Director - India

Raman has been involved in the Electronics and Telecom fields for the past three decades. His experience has been broad and deep, covering all aspects of the industry from shop floor management, product testing, system integration, project management, network design, implementation and management, to business development and training.  He has handled Business Development for telecom companies in India for products ranging from GSM/CDMA repeaters, filters and HF radios to digital switches and microwave. He has also been the CTO for GSM networks for three leading operators in India.

Raman holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication from Delhi University, as well as a Masters Degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology.

PETER HUNTER | Vice-President, Finance and CFO

For the past decade Peter has worked as an independent consultant providing corporate finance and business consulting services to technology-based companies and their investors. During this period he has secured in excess of $150 million in financing for his clients, led several M&A engagements, negotiated numerous pivotal licensing agreements and has been integrally involved with clients establishing strategic and tactical approaches to their markets. Clients have included Skywave Communications, Skypoint Capital, BDC Capital, Investment Desjardins and Innovatech Capital Partners.

Prior to this Peter was for 12 years an owner of a real estate syndication company.

In addition, Peter founded one of the first Labour Sponsored Venture Capital Funds in Canada. He holds the Chartered Accountant designation, is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and has been a lecturer in accounting at the University of Ottawa.

DR. SWATI CHAKRAVARTY-MARCON | Director, Product Line Management

Swati  brings a unique blended background to TenXc, with over two decades of experience in global business development, product management and marketing, technology and business management. She has been instrumental over this period in assisting companies and organizations in growing their businesses under challenging global market conditions.

Before joining TenXc, Swati worked for 10 years at JDSU, a major telecom company, as a Global Product Line Manager, where she managed a diverse product line and was instrumental in making that product line profitable.  Prior to this, she worked for 8 years at Orenda Aerospace, a subsidiary of Magellan Aerospace, as a Project Manager and a Research Engineer, where she led a range of  high-profile R&D projects.

Swati holds a Doctorate in Physics from Carleton University.
