Wideband Bi-Sector™ Array (1710 MHz – 2170 MHz)

The TenXc Wideband Bi-Sector Array  is an advanced phased-array solution for 1710-2170 MHz band networks, designed to significantly enhance network capacity to deliver advanced multimedia services. It matches the original 65° pattern with a new asymmetric beam-pair contoured to optimize central overlap and edge roll-off characteristics. Operating across the full 1710-2170 MHz frequency band,  the Wideband Bi-Sector Array can be deployed in CDMA, W-CDMA, GSM, UMTS and LTE networks.

The Wideband Bi-Sector Array incorporates the latest in array technology with a single panel supporting two sectors in a highly compact Radom design. It is available in three different versions:

  •   FET (Fixed Electrical tilt) Series
  •   VET (Variable Electrical Tilt) Series
  •   RET (Remote Electrical Tilt) Series

All TenXc antenna products are manufactured under ISO 9000/14000 and are RoHS compliant.

Key Features

  • High-gain antenna with continuous wideband operation (1710-2170 MHz)
  • Single panel design supporting two beams without mount changes
  • Asymmetric dual beams optimized to match existing cloverleaf (65°) deployments
  • Dual +45° and –45° cross-polarization for Left and Right beams
  • Independently adjustable beams provide unmatched optimization flexibility
  • 3GPP/AISG 2.0 compliant (RET Series)
  • Daisy Chaining capability (RET Series)
  • Weather resistant and highly reliable internal design
  • Software upgradeable (RET Series)

Applications

  • Data throughput and/or capacity-constrained sites
  • Spectrum-limited markets
  • Spectrum clearing and re-farming
  • In circumstances where operator wishes to defer CDMA or W-CDMA carrier adds

Benefits

  • Dramatically increases site capacity through higher order sectorization
  • Increases spectral efficiency through advanced beamshaping
  • Patented asymmetrical beam shape maximizes coverage in a standard tri-sector cell site
  • Boosts data throughput by lowering interference
  • Provides remote control of electrical down tilt of antenna for easier optimization (RET Series)
  • Allows operators to defer or avoid building new capacity sites
  • Enables reduced antenna count
  • Minimizes installation and site upgrade costs
